While designing "Piani", I was after a balance between the weight of the steel and its structural properties. The idea was to produce something that could only be achieved in steel, and that embodied a certain paradox, contrasting its physical heaviness with its visual lightness. Fucina was the perfect manifacturer to whom to propose this concept. Their exceptional craftsmanship and their great attention to detail perfectly translated the original intention into a high quality product.
